Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves or another against a bigger, stronger, heavier assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent. This ground fighting art is great for mental and physical strength. This art that is very well rounded for self-defense, competition or fitness
Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Our kids program at KAIJU MMA and Fitness is very special. We incorporate multiple martial arts into our BJJ based system to ensure that the self defense portion is complete. More importantly than self defense, our staff is committed to teaching life lessons and providing growth. Confidence, work ethic, integrity and life skills are the basis of our kids program.
MMA
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using effective techniques from other combat sports and martial arts. Melding the most effective techniques from all martial arts, MMA gives a real world feel to the competition realm. Kickboxing, boxing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, karate, judo, kung fu, wrestling and countless other arts have been infused and evolve MMA daily. Competition, self defense, discipline and countless other benefits come from training this art.
Kickboxing
Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking, punching, knees and elbows. The fundamentals of this martial art make it perfect for self-defense, health/fitness, or competition. The kickboxing program at KAIJU incorporates multiple styles including Dutch style, Muay Thai, boxing and other striking arts.
